We had a blast at oglebay resort! The cozy beautiful double room was a perfect spot after enjoying the festive light show. The staff was friendly. We loved the live country music at the hickman bar and singing with fellow guests. All in all, a fun night!

Well-maintained, perfect room with a separate bathroom and nice toiletries and double sinks. Beautiful and marvellous setting in the beautiful area, just next door to the mountains, the restaurant for dinner on Friday evening at 7:00, and Oglebay Resort. Great service at the restaurant! The pool is great with a sauna and a whirlpool provided.

This hotel is great, and has free wi-fi, seasonal outdoor pool, and 24-hour reception. I remember my first stay when the staff helped me with currency recommendations. Highly recommended for a relaxing escape. I'm coming back for Christmas!

The grounds were beautiful, with plenty of holiday decorations that created a festive atmosphere. Our room was cozy, and the comfortable bed made for a great night's sleep. We enjoyed the friendly staff and had a blast singing along to live country music at the Hickman Bar.
Parking was a bit inconvenient, and some spaces were hard to find.

I stayed with family and enjoyed the view of the lake and the Festival of Lights. The suite had a fireplace and a small kitchen. We felt comfortable gathering for happy hour with real wine glasses. The dining room was nice, and breakfast was satisfying. The service was good despite a slow start with check-in.

We enjoyed the beautiful zoo, especially the rare albino alligator and the aussie exhibit with kangaroos. The live entertainment during the weekend was great. Just a heads-up, some areas can be a bit challenging to access for those with mobility issues.
